On the last day of term, Year 3 erupted their homemade volcanoes in front of an excitable Year 1. They used bicarbonate of soda and vinegar to create a chemical reaction that formed a mini explosion!

Thankfully the eruptions happened outside, so it wasn't a big clean-up operation!

Well done to Year 3.  We have had a fantastic time learning about volcanoes.  We are sure we have some budding volcano experts in the making!
