Our Outdoor Learning Area has been transformed, and it's all thanks to the amazing volunteers and our fantastic PTA! We now have brilliant stick teepees that are perfect for imaginative games and secret meetings. Planting all those little trees was hard work, but we know they'll grow big and strong and give us lots of lovely shade. And the swings! They are so much fun, letting us feel the wind in our hair as we soar through the air. The mud kitchen is a huge hit too – who knew mud could be so much fun to cook with?

The best part is that every single class gets to spend time in our forest school area every half term. It's such a wonderful opportunity to learn and explore in a different way. Being outdoors makes us feel so happy and full of energy. We get to work together, solve problems, and discover amazing things about nature. It's truly wonderful to see all the children thriving and so engaged when they're outside. As a My Happy Mind accredited school, we really value looking after our well-being, and our outdoor space is a fantastic place to feel calm, happy, and connected to the world around us.
